East End Life Community Cookbook in support of Centre 55
An amazing community project that took local resident's favourite recipes, put them in a book! A truly EAST END community endeavour that saw the proceeds of over $2,500 donated directly to Centre 55! Local photographers donating their expertise for the cover artwork, local printer supplementing the printing cost and well, time and effort to design and publish this truly community cookbook! Our local Chefs from some of our favourite restaurants shared their recipes as well!

Over 100 pumpkins were given away via pick up and delivery options with the 2nd Annual Great Pumpkin Giveaway! Big thank you to the Prologue Cafe for hosting the pick up event.
Mary Alice made an appearance at both events, acting as a delivery driver for the pumpkins.

2nd Annual Food Donation Bag Program
It was another incredibly successful food drive in support of
Centre 55's "Share a Christmas Program". Over 350 lbs of non perishable food items were collected through this donation bag initiative. But not only did we pick up and deliver the food items, we also helped deliver the hampers to those in need on Dec 22/19.
A huge THANK YOU to all those that participated and volunteered their time to make someone else's Christmas be a little bit nicer.
Look for us again next year when we begin the 3rd Annual Food Donation Bag Program.

We recently hosted our First Annual Pumpkin Giveaway at Prologue Cafe on Gerrard St E on October 19, 2019. Weather was beautiful and the turn out was spectacular! We gave away 120 pumpkins!!!
